Rob the “Wafoo-American”

Hi my name is Rob. I’m the organizer of this webpage. It’s a personal project that consists of Japanese language concepts that I have accumulated over course of 2 years of language teaching/exchange and 21 years of my life in Japan.

As an adolescent, I grew up in London, New York and LA, until somehow landed on the mystical land in the far east, the land of the rising sun, Japan. Whether it was my ancestral spirit guides leading me, or just by play of fate, I somehow was destined to live here and live my life as a Japanese.

Here on this site, is a compilation (and a rather random one) of vocabularies and interesting sentence structures and phrases that I have come across my Japanese teaching/exchange experiences in the last 2 years.

I also do language teaching via skype and other video chats. So if you have interest in learning please email me at robshiba@gmail.com.

Also visit my website, I do different types of facilitation and consulting regarding Japanese culture (especially rural culture) and global communication in general. Click here for the types of work I(7ve done in the last 2 years.

Thanks you and hope you have good time learning Japanese,
